Steve, I don't know anything about the status of my carb jetting. I do know that the previous owned had removed the brass plug for the low speed mixing jet, and it's backed off about 3 turns, but I don't know if the white spacer has been removed or not. The screws on the top cover of the diaphragm look like they have never seen a screwdriver since the bike was on the assembly line at the Factory in 1997! All I'm interested in is a lean, skeletal look...not any performance gains. If the installation of a foam filter results in lean running, then of course I'll rejet to the next "juicier" size. I will heed all comments from everybody on this matter!
